RETINA VITREOUS

RETINA VITREOUS

The retina, a thin layer of light-sensitive tissue, converts visual signals into electrical impulses transmitted to the brain. The vitreous, a clear gel-like substance, fills the space between the lens and the retina, giving the eye its shape and helping maintain its pressure. Damage to the retina, such as retinal detachment or macular degeneration, can cause vision loss, while vitreous problems, like vitreous detachment or floaters, can also impact vision.
